French footballer Samuel Umtiti, from Barcelona, suffered a trauma during training this Monday and fractured the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, informed the Catalan club.
The central defender 28 years old, who in 2021/2022 only played one game, against Osasuna, on December 12, will be operated on Tuesday, by doctor Antoni Dalmau, under the supervision of Barcelona’s medical services.
Umtiti, remember, renewed last week for Barcelona, until 2026 , in an agreement that involved a salary reduction that allowed the inclusion of the recent reinforcement of the team, Ferran Torres.
