The Territorial Command of the National Republican Guard (GNR) of Braga, through the Criminal Prevention and Community Policing Section of Barcelos, yesterday, October 6, constituted a 28-year-old man accused of sexual harassment.
Following several complaints about the practice of sexual harassment on the Caminhos de Santiago, namely in the parishes north of the municipality of Barcelos, the military of Guarda developed police measures in order to identify and to locate the said suspect, having arrived to meet the individual who was harassing the pilgrims with acts of a sexual nature.
The man was appointed defendant, and the facts were reported to the Judicial Court of Braga.
