Delves have become a key corner stone of War Within. With a rotating hero each season, new events and maybe new Delves to explore it’s a feature that has legs. For Season 1 of Delves we have Brann, and he has a fair few interesting builds to help you out.

Best Builds for Brann Bronzebeard – Delve Deep

Before we get started, let’s do some general housekeeping and things you can do to improve without the builds.

• Use Rank 4 Curios if possible. We might suggest a different DPS or Healing Curios below, but if it’s a rank 1 vs a rank 4, chances are the rank 4 you have is better anyway
• Stick to Delves you enjoy, each one is empowered roughly twice a week anyway. Delves don’t need to be difficult, don’t like The Waterworks? Then don’t do it
• Let Brann fill in your weaknesses or enhance your strengths. Most of my testing with Delves was on my DH, so I don’t ever really need Brann to DPS, I really need him to keep me alive or off-tank some mobs. Use this to your advantage, there is no “best” Brann build, just the best one for you.

Healer/Tank Brann Build

• Unbreakable Iron Idol: At Rank 4, this Curio activates when you reach 40% Health, dealing damage to enemies and taunting them for 10 seconds.

• Amorphous Relic: This Relic gives you stats bonuses based on whether you receives Massive or Miniature:

  • Massive: At Rank 4, increases your size by 20%, maximum health by 20%, and damage and healing done by 12%.

  • Miniature: At Rank 4, Reduce your size by 20%, increases movement speed by 20%, and your haste by 12%.

DPS Brann Build

Here we’ll look to go full-blown DPS for Brann as he looks to share the load

• Porcelain Arrowhead Idol: At Rank 4, it gives you an additional 50% Crit Chance on enemies hit by Brann’s the Porcelain Arrow.

• Amorphous Relic: This Relic gives you stats bonuses based on whether you receives Massive or Miniature:

  • Massive: At Rank 4, increases your size by 20%, maximum health by 20%, and damage and healing done by 12%.

  • Miniature: At Rank 4, reduce your size by 20%, increase movement speed by 20%, and your haste by 12%.

  NOTE: for Solo tanks, Idol of Final Will is a better alternative for DPS on Brann.

Healer Brann Build

• Light-Touched Idol: At Rank 4, this Curio heals you for 4% of your maximum health every second for 10 seconds whenever a defensive ability with a cooldown of 30 seconds or greater is used.
