In October of last year we told you that Magisk in its Canary version was already compatible with Android 12, a not very stable version that opened an important door for rooting in the latest android version. Now comes version v24, a beta candidate for stable release, as long as users do not report bugs during these days.
With this version Android 12 support finally arrives in the standard version of Magisk, as well as the introduction of Zygisk, a feature that will allow Magisk to be even more versatile and perform better than ever. We explain what’s new in this version.
A great day for Android rooting
Published Magisk v24.0 🎉🎉

In case someone is lost, Magisk is currently the best tool to root an Android, as it was in its day SuperSu. In addition to allowing the phone to be rooted by passing tests such as SafetyNet, thus bypassing the limitations of apps that cause problems for root , Magisk supports several modules that allow advanced system modifications.
With the new Magisk update, v24, comes official support for Android 12 and an interesting feature called Zygisk. Zygisk is the operation of Magisk on top of Zygote, one of Android’s special processes, which allows code sharing in Dalvik and ART, the execution environment for Android applications.
Avoiding technicalities, Zygisk allows developers to create more efficient modules, preloading the resources they need in system memory to improve performance and runtime. This is one of the biggest changes coming to Magisk, opening the door to better and better modules.
The creator of the app assures that this version will be published as stable if there are no bugs in the next days. If you don’t want to wait, you have this version on the GitHub of Topjohnwu, the developer of this tool.
