The Bioinformatics, Intelligent Computer Systems and Educational Technology Group (BISITE) is made up of a multidisciplinary team of researchers focused mainly on the conception and development of innovative products. From the same group are offering two postdoctoral fellowships in partnership with the Sklodowska-Curie actions of the European Commission. They have a duration of 30 months and technologies such as Blockchain , IoT , and Artificial Intelligence .
The winners must meet various requirements demanded by the BISITE Group . Among them, they highlight that those who aspire to the scholarship must be experienced researchers, in possession of a doctoral degree (PhD) or have at least 4 years of demonstrable research experience. They must also master the English language both orally and in writing.
Essential requirements to apply for the scholarship
Likewise, applicants must demonstrate that they have not resided or carried out their main activity, such as studies or work, in those countries for more than 12 months, in the 3 years immediately prior to the term of the call.
It should be noted that those selected will join a group of 50 researchers, in which they will train and lead their own team to carry out research in different technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, IoT and Blockchain.
The scholarship also includes funds that will be destined for travel, and research expenses that are “ reasonable ”. Also, will earn a salary of 3,600 EUR per month .

In BISITE, characterized by developing intelligent systems which are applied in any field of knowledge, whenever there is a problem that cannot be solved with traditional technologies. Within their projects, they combine Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning with technologies such as Blockchain, IoT, Fog Computing, etc . Which, later are applied in problems of Industry 4.0, the Smart Cities , the Smart Grids, Smart Textiles or Fintech , among others.

As mentioned above, BISITE will work in partnership with the Program of Scholarships “ Marie Skłodowska-Curie” which is known for its purpose: which is focused on helping to increase the number of women in the nuclear field, thus contributing to create an inclusive workforce made up of men and women who participate in scientific and technological innovation. globally and promote it.
Marie Skłodowska-Curie, was awarded the Nobel Prize twice , for inspiring and encouraging young women to embark on a professional career in the nuclear field, offering highly motivated students scholarships to pursue master’s programs and the opportunity to undertake an internship promoted by the IAEA.
