Blue-check professor stunned by the ‘abject f**king disdain’ privileged white women have for teachers and kids

As Twitchy has reported recently, some liberals have started to be red-pilled when it comes to school districts’ policies when it comes to “protecting” schoolchildren from COVID-19. In December, New York Times columnist Michelle Goldberg reacted to an NPR interview with U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy about the damage lockdowns have done to the mental health of young people by noting all the times she was told not to be concerned because children are “resilient.” The next day she noted that her kids’ school had asked parents’ permission for their children to eat indoors, socially distanced on the cafeteria floor, because it was getting cold outside.

A couple of weeks later, Goldberg had written a shameless column rewriting the history of COVID measures which was then retweeted by none other than Randi Weingarten, saying it described “why we worked so hard to re-open schools 4 in person learning.”

Now, white woman Jill Filipovic retweeting white woman Katherine Goldstein’s tweet about an Atlantic piece on the damage of school COVID policies has drawn the ire of academic Matt Gabriele.

The disdain privileged white women have for their own children is stunning.

Keep it up! pic.twitter.com/D9DzKaAsEi

It’s 2022, and this is the perfect message for all Democrats to campaign on in November. 👇 Thanks, Matt! https://t.co/DRIqm5KO2y

The abject disdain that privileged men feel towards working mothers and women is stunning. There I fixed it for you. https://t.co/njYUYj4gK4

Privileged white man is complaining about privileged white woman, because clearly he has less privilege as a man than a woman.

Such feminism on display right here lol https://t.co/pLlMufky0Y

“Progressive” misogyny from a fairly famous professor of history, delivered with an expletive and in a tone of sneering disdain. (This is the kind of thing academic women share in the group chat like WTAF) https://t.co/ZOl6ESdXgG

He thinks he speaks for kids. 😆 @prof_gabriele the abject disdain privileged white progressive men like you have for kids & women is stunning. See what I did there?

They totally need to double down on this

They’re gonna find out what people really think in November.

He/him. Surprise surprise.

The @GOP need not hire expensive advertising firms this election cycle. The @DNC is providing everything they need. Ads write themselves.

Amusing to watch these leftist halfwits pit themselves against MAMA BEARS. So very clever… 😄

Some American academics think kicking vulnerable children out of public school for nearly two years is fine. Embarrassing. Like defending the Iraq War. https://t.co/54g2fGJf7T

— Anthony LaMesa (@ajlamesa) January 8, 2022

Non-white teacher here- this is a really bad take. School closures were an abysmal failure and detrimental to our most vulnerable kids.

Many educators are facing ire due to their own refusal to work. Please stop making it about race. https://t.co/Dyih0yfP3e

Top of the food chain white guy licking his chops at the idea that he can be as misogynistic as he wants and still appear woke. https://t.co/xU9j370WeE

This is one of those “inadvertently extremely revealing about the tweeter” tweets

— Oliver Burkeman (@oliverburkeman) January 8, 2022

You’re so right that it’s disdain for my children that makes me want them to attend school! How did you see right through?

— susan pearson (@shoojaypee) January 8, 2022

Democrats are telling the nation they’re souring on the party because of its stance on COVID policies for school children, and Gabriele is telling them to shut up rather than have the party actually listen to why they feel that way — a winning strategy.
