On the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza decided to make a swanky purchase. The actor added a new wheel to his already luxurious range of car collection. He bought a brand new maroon BMW iX electric car. The electric car from the German automaker is priced upwards of ₹1.16 crore across India. In Mumbai, the on-road price of the car is around ₹1.43 crore. The car is the first-ever all-electric variant of the iX.

This becomes the second electric car owned by the star, who is known for his fondness for cars. His enviable supercar collection includes a Bentley Flying Spur, a Land Rover Range Rover Vogue, a BMW 7-Series, a Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and a Tesla X.

Deshmukh purchased a Mercedes-Benz S-Class to add to his collection last year. The car’s 4.7-liter V8 engine can generate 429bhp of power and 700Nm torque. To buy an S-Class, you’d need to invest a sum of Rs. 1.3 Crores. What’s more, the car model has also been a coveted purchase among stars like Hrithik Roshan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.

One of the best cars in Deshmukh’s collection is the first-generation Bentley Flying Spur. The car costs around Rs 3.5 Crores. Akshay Kumar, Virat Kohli, Aamir Khan, and Shilpa Shetty Kundra, are a few other stars who own this mean machine.

A BMW 7-Series also rests at the actor’s residence. Priced at Rs 1.37 Crores, the aspirational car model is also owned by stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, and Saif Ali Khan. The German-manufactured car is powered by a six-cylinder twin-turbo engine with 8-speed automatic transmission.

Cartoq, an auto site, revealed that the actor also owns a Land Rover Range Rover Vogue worth Rs 1.97 Crores. The car has a 3.0-litre V6 engine which can generate a horsepower of 250bhp and peak torque of 600Nm. It’s one of the best range of cars available on the market.

Another stunning car in Riteish’s garage is the Tesla Model X. The car was gifted to him by his wife, Genelia D’Souza on his birthday. The car is worth Rs 95 Lakhs with falcon-wing doors and high-performance engines. One of Elon Musk’s finest cars, the electric car can go from 0-100 km/hour in 3.2 seconds. It can cover a distance of 475 km on a single charge.
