The promoter of

Tyson Fury – Bob Aram, n make a curious suggestion for the next heavyweight match. If Fury defeats Diontay Wilder in their upcoming third and final battle, then the Briton will face the new world champion Alexander Usik, who recently took the title of Anthony Joshua.

This proposal is unlikely to happen because of the headquarters of Joshua have already activated the rematch clause and are expected a new match between Usik and AJ in the spring of 2022. However, Arum believes that the world of boxing will want to see an hour sooner a match to determine the absolute champion in the heavyweight category.

“If Fury wins, the boxing world will want to see how the two champions will define an undisputed one,” said Bob Aram “And then the winner will have to fight Joshua, so he doesn’t lose his chance,” the promoter added, reassuring AJ that it would be his turn.

On Sunday morning, Bulgarian time, Tyson Fury will defend his World Boxing Council (WBC) championship belt. Usik.
