Breaking a five-way tie in the LCS – Bangers secured for Week 3

Five teams are sitting atop the LCS spring standings, which is an indicator of how competitive this league could be this season. Cloud9, 100 Thieves, FlyQuest, Dignitas and Liquid are all at the top with a 3-1 record after two weeks of the LCS. Here is how that has happened and a look ahead to the upcoming round of fixtures this weekend.

Team Liquid vs Evil Geniuses  – Week 3 Hot Match

TL meets EG on Saturday in one of the most anticipated fixtures of the spring split and a rematch of the lock-in final. Liquid beat Cloud9 on Saturday and then beat FlyQuest on Sunday to move to the joint top after splitting their results in the first week. They are our favorites for the spring title with such depth and offensive firepower.

Liquid start that match at odds of x1.60.

Evil Geniuses are no pushovers, far from it, but Liquid seem to be in stunning form right through 2022, which will make a difference if this match extends beyond 35 minutes. Hans Sama has brought his form from the previous split for his new franchise, and is presently producing returns of 4 kills, 1.75 deaths and 5.75 assists per map at a KDA of 5.57 with a creep score of 372.75.

More stellar returns have been produced in the top lane from Bwipo, who is averaging 3.5 kills, 2 deaths and 4 assists at a KDA of 3.75 and a creep score of 355.25. This is a team with unparalleled depth in the LCS, and that should help in their second match of the week, when they face Golden Guardians in a massive mismatch as well.

LCS Week 3 Expectations & Core Predictions

100 Thieves, reigning LCS champions, have started well with their new core roster. They have managed to win three of four matches to start the new split, which will make a difference against two middling opponents this weekend: on Saturday, they face Golden Guardians and FlyQuest on Sunday. I fully expect 100T to win both matches with relative ease, and the LoL odds seem to reflect that sentiment.

FBI has been in solid offensive form for 100 Thieves, producing 4.75 kills, 1.5 deaths and 9 assists per map at a KDA of 9.17 and a creep score of 280. He will be the leader of the offense for 100 Thieves in the bot lane.

Another one that seems ripe for an upset is Dignitas vs FlyQuest on Saturday. Both teams are among the five at the top of the LCS standings in spring. FlyQuest have currently been given odds of x2.30 on Betway. Here is why that is a compelling choice for a singles bet.

Firstly, both teams don’t have too many differences, when it comes to personnel, form or even depth in the lanes. FlyQuest have received sensational offensive production from Johnsun in the bottom lane, who is averaging 7 kills, 1.75 deaths and 7 assists at a KDA of 8 and a creep score of 372 and a CSPM of 10.21. If he finds his feet quickly, and maintains his aggression, then there is no reason why FlyQuest can’t continue to push the boundaries with a roster that is certainly overachieving at this stage of the season.

Elsewhere, Cloud9 should cruise through both their matches – against Counter Logic Gaming on Saturday and TSM on Sunday. Both of those teams are languishing at the bottom of the LCS table with four losses in four matches so far.
