Brinkhaus: Doubts as to whether measures can get the wave under control

BERLIN (dpa-AFX) – Union faction leader Ralph Brinkhaus is not convinced of the results of the resolutions made by the federal and state governments on Friday. “I have my doubts as to whether we can get the omicron wave under control with the measures that have been decided,” Brinkhaus told the editorial network Germany. “We are still ready to pass the determination of the epidemic situation of national importance in the Bundestag, as requested by some federal states, in order to provide further options for action in the short term.”
