Budimex will build a dam of over 100 km on the border with Belarus

The management board of the construction company Budimex announced that it had concluded a contract for the construction of a physical dam on the Podlasie section of the border with Belarus.

The company had informed earlier that its offer was assessed as the most advantageous. Now, in the announcement, she announced that on January 4, 2022, an agreement was concluded with the Border Guard Headquarters for “Building security for the state border on the section of the Podlasie Border Guard Unit.”

The contract concerns the construction of two sections with a total length of 105.55 km and total the contract value was set at over PLN 326.24 million net . Budimex has 150 days from signing the contract to build the “barrier” . Budimex has 150 days from signing the contract and gives a 60-month warranty for the construction works performed.

The Border Guard Headquarters will have 30 days for payment from the date of issuing a VAT invoice by Budimex. As noted, the bank’s performance guarantee will amount to 5 percent. the total gross price, and the maximum value of the contractual penalty paid by the Contractor will not exceed 20%. gross wages.

The rate from the one-year low in December has already recovered by approx. 13 percent.
