Bulgaria has entered the dark red COVID zone

Ten percent increase in morbidity in just one day – 547 per 100,000 people are infected, according to the National Center for Infectious and Parasitic Diseases.

This is also an indication that the country is already in the dark red COVID zone.

Separately and 8 areas are colored in the same color on the morbidity map – these are Sofia-city, Sofia-district, Pernik, Varna, Burgas, Blagoevgrad, Ruse, and as of today Kyustendil.

In only two districts remain in the yellow zone – Kardzhali and Targovishte.

Most patients are in Sofia, where 55% of the discovered beds for the treatment of COVID-19 are already occupied.

5525 are the newly diagnosed with COVID-19 persons in our country for the past 24 hours. For the last 24 hours, a total of 38,427 tests have been performed, and 14.38% of the new cases have been tested. This is shown by the data of the Unified Information Portal.
