Bulgaria is in a group with Poland and the United States for the 2022 World Cup in Russia

The Bulgarian national volleyball team is in Group C together with the current champion Poland and the USA for the 2022 Men’s World Championship in Russia. The fourth team in the group is Mexico. This determined the draw for the 2022 World Cup tonight. volleyball legends, famous athletes and celebrities from Russia and abroad. On the Bulgarian side, the ceremony was attended by the president of BFV Lubo Ganev.

The Men’s World Championship will be held from August 26 to September 11 next year. The 24 World Cup qualifiers were divided into 6 preliminary groups of 4 teams each. The first two teams in each group plus the top 4 will advance to the next phase of the championship, which will have 4 groups of 4 teams.

The host cities of the matches of the first phase of The 2022 World Cup will be Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo, Ufa, Ekaterinburg and Moscow.

Group C matches will be played in Novosibirsk. The matches of Group A, hosted by Russia, will be in Moscow, except for the opening match, which will be played at the Ice Palace in St. Petersburg. Group B will be in Kemerovo, Group D in Ufa, Group E in Ekaterinburg and Group F in Krasnoyarsk.
