Calibre 50 makes its way to No. 1 on Billboard’s Regional Mexican Airplay chart (dated Jan. 22) with the Marco Antonio Solis cover “Si Te Pudiera Mentir.” The single advances (4-1) to lead in its 24th week, the longest climb to No. 1 since Banda Los Recoditos took a 23-week trip to the summit in 2013 with “Mi Último Deseo.”
“Si Te Pudiera” takes over Regional Mexican Airplay with a 6% boost in audience impressions, to 6.67 million, earned in the week ending Jan. 16, according to MRC Data.
The song evicts La Adictiva’s “Ya Sólo Eres Mi Ex” from its four-week reign.
The new chart champ gives Calibre 50 its 21st No. 1 on Regional Mexican Airplay, a week after the song entered the top 10 on the metric-blended (airplay, sales streams) Hot Latin Songs tally (its highest ranking there since 2017’s “Corrido de Juanito;” No. 7 peak).
With 21 leaders on the group’s account, the Sinaloans extend its record for the most No. 1 since Regional Mexican Airplay launched in 1994. Here’s a recap of the leaderboard:

Elsewhere, “Si Te Pudiera Mentir” rises 13-7 on the all-genre Latin Airplay ranking, where the group collects its 24th top 10 following “A La Antiguita’s” No. 5 peak (August 2021).
Over on Latin Streaming Songs, the track inches 24-22 after registering 2.8 million streams in the tracking week ending Jan. 13.
“Si Te Pudiera Mentir” emerged in 1990, recorded by Rocio Durcal for her eponymous set that year. Solis later re-recorded his tune for the 1999 Trozos de Mi Alma, which earned him a first No. 1 debut on Top Latin Albums.
