A new Call of Duty Warzone update is out now and has some important fixes included for COD fans on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
Having recently launched Call of Duty Season 2 Reloaded across Warzone and Vanguard, there has been a deluge of new content released. Rebirth Island has been Reinforced with new POIs, Community Challenges and features, not to mention a new weapon.
There have also been a number of weapons rebalanced, with those effects still trickling out and changing the meta. Today’s Warzone patch is much smaller and some gamers might not have noticed its release, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t worth checking out.
Here’s what we know has changed with the release of today’s new Call of Duty Warzone update.
New Call Of Duty Warzone Update Out Today
As confirmed by Raven Software on Twitter, today’s Call of Duty Warzone update is out now and is pretty small in stature. Much of it is geared towards fixing problems added to Warzone during the Season 2 Reloaded launch. And as confirmed in patch notes, some of these changes will be more widely felt on Rebirth Island.
This includes the nerfing of the Juggernaut Public Event across Rebirth Island, which has not been proving very popular with fans. From today onwards, COD gamers should not run into enemies that are suited and booted very often. Other changes can be found below, alongside other quick fixes released this week:
- Drastically reduced the chances of the Juggernaut Public Event across Rebirth Island.
- Drastically reduced the damage reduction of Spawn Protection near the ground across RBI.
- Gas Canister spawns reduced across RBI.
- Armaguerra 43 (VG) .30 Russian Mag global damage bonus removed.
- Combat Shield (VG) now properly covers a Players head when equipped.
- Icon visibility has been increased from 400m to 600m.
- Resolve lower than intended Sniper Rifle headshot damage in Battle Royale.
