Be it her no-filter commentary about different topics or her upbeat rap songs, Cardi B has successfully carved her name in the music industry. Cardi B, a Bronx-born rapper, has hustled for many years to reach this level of success. From working at the Amish market to becoming a stripper, to claiming the throne as the Billboard Hot 100 Queen, the artist has amassed a $40 million net worth through her music and social media presence. Let’s take a look at how Cardi B worked her way to the top.

She has one studio album, Invasion of Privacy, and two solo mixtapes to her name. In addition to this, she made 90 million record sales and is the sixth bestselling female digital artist. With smashing hits like “WAP”, “I Like It”, “Girls Like You”, and “Up”, Cardi B also became the first female solo artist in history to win a Grammy for Best Rap Album for Invasion of Privacy.

She has also earned $1 million per show when she hosted the 2019 Arena Tour. She earns millions from brand endorsements with Amazon, Fashion Nova, Pepsi, Balenciaga, Steve Madden, and Reebok as well. She is richer than her husband, Offset, by $14 million.

Coming back to third diamond-certified record, Cardi B took to Instagram to celebrate this achievement. She wrote, “My album came out in 2018 and it’s still breaking records. I have a solo diamond record, a feature diamond record and now ANOTHER diamond record from a collab with 2 people that I look up to and love so much, @jbalvin & @badbunnypr. I remember like it was yesterday when this song went #1 and now it’s Diamond. I honestly just can’t believe this is happening! I’m so proud to have two songs off my debut album go Diamond. I hope I can achieve the same or even better on my next one. Thank you everyone that has supported and loved this record.”
