This season Chelsea is considered as a strong champion candidate in all competitions. This is because the Blues have performed brilliantly since the start of the season.
However, in the past week, Chelsea’s performances tend to fall short. They have only managed to make a total of one shot on target in their last two matches, where they lost to Man City and Juventus.
Cole is optimistic that Chelsea’s negative trend will not last long. “I think they’re just slipping at the moment,” Cole told BT Sports.

Cole said that Chelsea must ensure that the negative trend does not continue.
So he wants his former club it bounced back against Southampton at the weekend.
“These two results make the match at the weekend going to be a big game for them . Because the top teams don’t win three games in a row,”

Cole himself is optimistic that Chelsea will bounce back this weekend.
He is confident that Thomas Tuchel will improve Chelsea and they will return to winning ways.
“The game against Southampton Saturday will be a big game. But I’m not worried at all, because Thomas Tuchel will get these players back to their best.”
