China has decided not to allow not only foreign fans, but also some of its own

As reported by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), China will only allow local residents to buy tickets to the competition, and foreign fans will not be welcome at the most important four-year winter event.

However, tickets will not be sold to all Chinese, but only to the mainland. Tickets will not be sold to residents of other regions and islands, although they are considered part of the People’s Republic of China.

Also, anyone who buys tickets to the Games will have to meet all the requirements related to the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Who will be able to enter the Games those requirements will be announced later.

The Beijing Winter Games will be held from February 4 to 20. Beijing hosted the Summer Olympics in 2008.
