China's energy crisis could make laptops more expensive

Power outages in China will lead to higher Laptop prices, industry sources cited by the Taiwanese edition Digitimes.

Floods, fires , hurricanes and earthquakes, as well as atypical frosts, had a negative impact on the electronics industry. During its last quarterly reporting period, HP Inc. and Dell warned that the two US companies could not produce laptops in the required quantities due to shortage of semiconductor components . Now the limited power supply for enterprises in China may further complicate the situation.
