Recently, a head-mounted display named Vision SE passed the 3C certification. This product is often referred to as the “Domestic Version of Vision Pro,” and it provides two models, one with a camera and one without.
According to the certification information, the manufacturer of this product is Shenzhen Emdoor Virtual Reality Technology Co., Ltd., and the producer is Zhongshan United Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. The product has two models: AppleCore_16X (with camera) and AppleCore_16XS (without camera), where X stands for numbers 0-9, and S stands for letters A-Z, used to distinguish different sales regions and exterior colors.
Currently, this head-mounted display can be purchased on e-commerce platforms, with a price range of about 1500 to 1600 yuan. There are two very small cameras on the front of the product for switching to real-world scenes. This certification document implies that the company may launch a version without a camera to further reduce the price.
In terms of configuration, this head-mounted display runs on the Android 8.1 system and uses a 5.5-inch 3664 x 1920 LCD screen with a refresh rate of 72Hz. It is equipped with a Qualcomm SXR1130 chip (based on Snapdragon 670), RAM starting from 4GB, ROM starting from 64GB, and a battery capacity of 3000mAh.
In February of this year, Emdoor Virtual’s CEO, Shi Qing, did not shy away from talking about labels such as “low-end,” and “counterfeit,” and believed that low-priced products are not shameful. The company plans to ship 500,000 units this year.
