As expected, the American Chloe Kim set the standard in the women’s halfpipe at the Laax Open. For the fourth time after 2017, 2019 and 2021.
The 21-year-old Olympic champion from 2018 and two-time world champion, who lived in Valais for two years as a teenager, sailed the spectacular superpipe under floodlights at her own altitude and also impressed with style and difficulty. She won ahead of Mitsuki Ono from Japan and Queralt Castellet from Spain.
None of the Swiss had qualified for the final of the top eight.
