Çin Havacılık ve Uzay Bilimi ve Teknolojisi Şirketinin (CASC) yayımladığı rapora göre, gezen yıl uzaya 55 fırlatış gerçekleştirildi. 103 aracın uzaya çıkarıldığı fırlatışlarla Çin, bu alanda dünya genelinde ilk sırada yer aldı.
Fırlatışlarda uzaya toplam 191,19 ton yük taşındı.
ABD, 51 fırlatışta uzaya 403,34 ton yük çıkararak ağırlık bakımından ilk sırada yer aldı.
Geçen yıl dünya genelinde toplam 146 fırlatışta 1846 araç uzaya yollandı. Bu, 1957’den bu yana en fazla fırlatışın yapıldığı yıl oldu.
CASC Yardımcı Direktörü Ma Tao, yaptığı açıklamada, Çin’in Dünya yörüngesinde kurduğu uzay istasyonunu tamamlamak için 2022’de 6 insanlı sefer düzenlemeyi planladığını aktardı.
