The Provincial Carabinieri Command of Mantua, within the of an investigation delegated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Mantua and conducted in collaboration with the Carabinieri of the Labor Inspectorate Unit, denounced 234 subjects, who allegedly received citizenship income illegally.
Specifically, the positions of 165 foreigners and 69 Italians, reported by the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri, commanded by Colonel Antonino Minutoli.
4 “, as a measure to combat poverty, in some cases they would have misrepresented and in others they would have failed to report the causes impeding the granting of the benefit itself, including, for example, movable assets exceeding 6,000 euros, cars purchased in 6 months prior to the request, possession of motor vehicles with a displacement greater than 250 horses registered in the two previous years, ISEE income exceeding 9,360 euros. In some cases they worked illegally. The necessary procedures will now be initiated to recover the total sum of approximately 1,150,000 euros, which would amount to the unduly received benefits.
