Veneto, downward infections, +253 in 24 hours

The Covid infection curve in Veneto shows a slowdown, with 253 new positives in the last 24 hours. There are also 3 victims. This was reported by the regional bulletin. The total number of infected since the beginning of the epidemic has reached 468,753, that of deaths to 11,773. The current positives drop to 10,817 (-232). Hospital admissions are also down: 241 Covid patients (-2) are hospitalized in the non-critical area, 50 (-2) in intensive care.

152 cases and one death in Puglia

Today Wednesday 29 September 152 were registered in Puglia cases out of 14,230 tests for Covid-19 infection, with an incidence of 1.06%. The new positives are 77 in the province of Bari, 40 in the Lecce area, 26 in the Foggia area, 7 in the Tarantino, 6 in the Bat province, 3 in the Brindisi area. One resident outside the region and 6 cases of unknown residence were reclassified and attributed. Since the beginning of the emergency 3,661,955 tests have been carried out and 2,643 cases are currently positive. The total number of Covid positive cases in Puglia is 268,521 and 259,092 patients are cured.

In Umbria five hospitalizations in plus, the positives are still decreasing

The number of people hospitalized for covid in Umbria is rising again after several days of constant, albeit slight, drop. The contagion curve, on the other hand, remains downhill. This is what emerges from the daily data released by the region. In the covid wards of Umbrian hospitals there are currently 46 patients, five more than yesterday, of which two, unchanged, in intensive care. The current positives drop to 906, nine units less than the previous day. The new positives detected are 52, the healed 61. The figure for the deceased is unchanged.

In Emilia Romagna 258 new positive and six deaths

Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, 423,377 positive cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna, 258 more than yesterday, out of a total of 29,528 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of swabs made since yesterday is 0.9%. Six deaths were recorded.

67 new positives ascertained in South Tyrol

Another 67 new cases of positivity to Covid-19 have been ascertained, in the last 24 hours, by the laboratories of the Alto Adige health authority. Of these, 37 were detected based on 982 PCR swabs (259 of which were new tests) and 30 based on 4,502 antigen tests. 34 Covid-19 patients are hospitalized: 26 (one more than yesterday) are assisted in the normal hospital wards and 8 (one less) in intensive care. Another 5 patients (2 more) are in isolation in the Colle Isarco and Sarnes facilities. Even in the last 24 hours, no new deaths have been recorded. The people in quarantine or in home isolation are 1,854 (17 more), while the healed since the beginning of the health emergency are a total of 76,707 (38 more).
