The councilor Rubens Uchôa , vice president of the City Council of Palmas, lamented the death of pastor Geraldo Verissimo, who died this Thursday (30).
In a note, the congressman recalled that the religious was a great leader, adviser and friend and wished his family condolences.
“At this moment of farewell, I ask the God to console the whole family and, I leave my solidarity to all family and friends, especially his wife, Sister Geralda. May the good memories and the good moments lived are always preserved.”
Jubilated, Pastor Veríssimo gathered at the Assembly of God CIADSETA in Taquaralto. But throughout his ministry he was at the head of churches in several cities such as Cascalheira (MT), Santa Terezinha (MT), Aparecida do Rio Negro (TO), Axixá (TO), Goiatins (TO), and others.

I received with regret and great sadness the news of the death of my friend, Pastor Gerado Verissimo, which occurred this Thursday, September 30 in Palmas, where he lived.
Pastor Gerado was a friend, counselor, a great leader. Pastored several churches in cities such as Cascalheira/MT, Santa Terezinha/MT, Aparecida do Rio Negro/TO, Axixá/TO, Goiatins/TO, and several other cities. He was currently retired and congregated in the CIADSETA Assembly of God, Taquaralto field, Palmas/TO
