COVID-19 infections accelerate in Huila

COVID-19 infections in Huila would be accelerating due to disorder and citizen carelessness during the 2021 year-end festivities. Yesterday, the Ministry of Health reported 353 new cases of infections for a cumulative number of confirmed infections of 92,103 .

According to the health authorities, in the last four days the average number of daily infections has been 252.75. Last Monday 232 cases were reported, on Tuesday 219, on Wednesday 207 and yesterday 353.

The ministerial portfolio also indicated that the death of four people was recorded, two of them appearing in the municipality of Garzón and two in the city of Neiva. In Huila, 3,217 patients have died from the coronavirus.

Meanwhile, 30,283 new cases were registered in the country, with the highest number in Bogotá with 7,208 infections, Antioquia with 4,615, Valle with 3,962, Cartagena with 1,966, Barranquilla with 1,822, Cundinamarca with 1,379, Santander with 960, Risaralda with 817, Cauca with 769 and Caldas with 711.

According to the Ministry, 96 deaths were recorded, of which 13 were from yesterday and the remaining 83 are from previous days.

Indicated that there are 321 conglomerates in the country that occur in Amazonas, Antioquia, Arauca, Atlántico, Barranquilla, Bogotá, Bolívar, Boyacá, Buenaventura, Caldas , Caquetá, Cartagena, Casanare, Cauca, Cesar, Chocó, Córdoba, Cundinamarca, Guainía, Guaviare, Huila, La Guajira, Magdalena, Meta, Nariño, Norte de Santander, Putumayo, Quindío, Risaralda, San Andrés, Santa Marta, Santander, Sucre, Tolima, Valle del Cauca, Vaupés, Vichada.
