Ronaldo launched his channel, UR Cristiano, on August 21, captivating millions of fans from around the world and exceeding the 10 million subscriber mark by the end of the day. This new record surpasses the previous milestone held by Hamster Kombat, which took seven days to achieve the same feat.
Ronaldo’s channel debuted with several engaging videos, including a teaser trailer, a fun quiz game with his partner Georgina Rodriguez, and a clip of Ronaldo meeting his wax figure at Madame Tussauds. Within the first 90 minutes of the channel’s launch, it garnered over 1 million subscribers. In just six hours, the number of subscribers surged past 6 million.
Ronaldo expressed his gratitude to his fans on social media, referring to them as “SIUUUbscribers,” a playful nod to his iconic celebration. “A present for my family … Thank you to all the SIUUUbscribers!” Ronaldo wrote while showing off his ‘Gold Play Button’ to his children.
The football legend, who has a significant social media following with 112.5 million followers on X, 170 million on Facebook, and 636 million on Instagram, had eagerly announced the launch of his YouTube channel on his social media platforms. “The wait is over. My @YouTube channel is finally here! SIUUUbscribe and join me on this new journey,” Ronaldo posted.
Currently playing for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, the five-time Ballon d’Or winner continues to demonstrate his immense popularity. Ronaldo’s YouTube channel, now boasting nearly 12 million subscribers, continues to grow rapidly, marking another milestone in his illustrious career.
