As part of their formation’s fourth-anniversary project, the three-member voice actress idol unit Run Girls, Run! launched a crowdfunding campaign to produce their first photo collection book on October 1. And it immediately reached its goal of 2,000,000 yen (18,000 USD).
As of this writing, it has collected a huge 7,432,000 yen (66,967 USD), which is 371 percent of its goal. How much more will be added before the campaign ends on October 17? The photo book is scheduled to be completed by mid-February 2022, and shipping will begin in early March. Also, a special event will be held in mid-March.
Run Girls, Run! was formed in 2017 and best known for their theme song works for the idol-themed anime franchise Kiratto Pri☆Chan. And all three members voiced the anime’s main characters – Coco Hayashi as its protagonist Mirai Momoyama, Nanami Atsugi as Rinka Aoba, and Yuuka Morishima as Meru Shidou.
Message from Coco Hayashi:
“Hello everyone! It’s the fourth anniversary of our formation, and the three members have been dreaming of making a ‘RGR (Ranga)-chan photo book’ ever since our debut, and now it finally comes true! Yay!!! I’m really excited to see what kind of photo book it will be, from our glittering idol look to our slightly squishy off-duty look. I hope it will be a book that shows our various expressions. We want to make everyone fall in love with RGR even more! Thank you, Runner! (the general name for the unit’s fans)”
Message from Nanami Atsugi:
“How do you do? As we celebrate our fourth anniversary, it’s time for us to fulfill one of our dreams, a photo book! I’m so happy to be able to shape the path of running with Runner like this. I hope to create the best book we can, because we’ve been running for so long! Please lend me your help, Runner!”
Message from Yuuka Morishima:
“I love having my picture taken, and now my dream is finally coming true! Through crowdfunding, we’ve been given the chance to publish a photo book of the three of us! I’m hoping that we’ll be able to put a lot of each of our colors into the book. I’ll do my best to live up to the expectations, so please lend me your help, Runner! Thank you very much!”
