‎Crown Prince appoints Yousef Al Benyan as Chairman of SME Bank

The Crown Prince issues a decision appointing Al-Bunyan as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Small and Medium Enterprises Bank

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Prime Minister, Chairman of the National Development Fund (NDF), appointed today, Feb. 16, Yousef Al Benyan as Chairman of the Small & Medium Enterprises Bank (SME Bank).

SME Bank is one of the development funds and banks affiliated with the NDF.

On Feb. 16, 2021, Saudi Arabia’s Cabinet approved the establishment of a bank for small and medium enterprises. The bank  seeks to raise the productivity of the SMEs and increase their contribution to GDP from 20% to 35% by 2030, Argaam reported.
