Cuba reports 4 097 new cases of COVID-19 and 46 deaths

Of the total cases, 4 087 were autochthonous cases and ten cases were imported

At the close of yesterday, 56 880 patients were admitted, 30 suspects 056, 2 992 under surveillance and 23 832 confirmed active.

For COVID-19, a total of 42 532 samples were performed for surveillance on the day , resulting positive 4 097. The country already accumulates 9 691 339 samples performed and 891 447 (9.2%) positive.

Of the total cases (4 097 ): 4 087 were autochthonous cases, and ten cases were imported.

By age ranges, 808 children under 20 years of age were diagnosed (of them 771 in pediatric ages); from 20 to 39 years, 981; from 40 to 59 years old, 1,296; and 60 years and over, 1 012.

3 newborns were diagnosed with the disease.

The death of 46 people is mourned.

Camagüey: 80 autochthonous cases

Las Tunas: 419 autochthonous cases

Holguín: 325 autochthonous cases

Granma: 326 autochthonous cases

Santiago de Cuba: 137 autochthonous cases
