Dead by Daylight Mobile has launched pre-registration for a completely overhauled version of the game

NetEase Games and Behaviour Interactive’s asymmetrical horror title, Dead by Daylight Mobile has been around for nearly three years now and has amassed over 28 million downloads worldwide. The developers have planned a sort of second coming of the game as pre-registration has started for a revamped version that brings a tonne of improvements.

The newly updated version of Dead by Daylight Mobile will launch on March 15th, with all facets of the game being improved. Graphical improvements include hair and clothing physics to make characters more responsive alongside dynamic shading and lighting and a visual overhaul of the entire map. Bugs are being fixed, there are quality of life upgrades, and smoother controls too.

In addition to this, the ability to interact with other players is being boosted with new social features. Dead by Daylight will finally feature a pre-game lobby before the Trial begins where the survivors can communicate with each other while the killers can formulate their last-minute plans. Private and global chats will be added too.

Perhaps the best part of the update is the introduction of Rift, which is the game’s version of a season pass. Each season will run for two months and will allow players a number of freebies like character customization items and in-game currencies as part of the Rift Pass. A newly added Platinum Tier offers exclusive items too, including exclusive Memento Mori animations for killers.

Finally, the updated ranking system will showcase a Seasonal Leaderboard for elite players to display their skills in The Fog. Players can pre-register for Dead by Daylight Mobile’s biggest overhaul yet by clicking on either of the links below. Early bird rewards include the Feng Ming Outfit and a bunch of other stuff for hitting milestones.
