Karachi: Civil Aviation Authority (CA) A) has decided to install modern security machinery at major airports of the country.
According to ARY News, Civil Aviation has invited tender applications from aspiring companies and consultancy firms for acquiring modern hand and hold baggage scanning machines at major airports of the country.
According to the CAA, the safety and security standards for 60 scanning machines must be in accordance with the International Civil Aviation Organization, the European Aviation Safety Agency and the TSA.
According to Civil Aviation, aspiring companies have to keep in mind the standards of international aviation companies based on Standard One, Two and Three in terms of scanning machines. Companies can submit applications along with full tender details and documents.
