The details of the stay in prison of the former President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili have been disclosed. This is reported by KP.RU.
According to the newspaper’s correspondent, 90 percent of the prison staff where Saakashvili is sitting are his admirers. They have a “fine” attitude to the ex-leader of Georgia and call him “Mr. President.”
“A single camera with round-the-clock video surveillance. TV, mobile toilet. Two officers are on duty at the camera. Three meals a day, but Saakashvili went on a hunger strike. The doctor monitors his blood pressure every three hours, – said the interlocutor of the media.
Earlier it became known that Saakashvili secretly crossed the border of the country in the ventilation cabin of the trailer. According to CNews, the ex-leader was helped by the truck driver Elguja Tsomaya. He was carrying greens from Georgia to Ukraine. It is clarified that the apartment in which Saakashvili was arrested also belongs to Tsomaya. “The trailer entered Poti, where Elguja changed the car and took Saakashvili to Batumi in his own car,” the source said.
Saakashvili was detained in Georgia on October 1. The politician came to the country after eight years of emigration. He returned to Georgia from Ukraine to participate in protests after the elections, which took place on October 2
