DIGI RCS & RDS: OFFICIAL Announcement, Major Change at the Beginning of 2022

DIGI RCS & RDS Anuntul OFICIAL Schimbarea Majora Inceputul 2022

DIGI RCS & RDS even published from the first days of 2022 an extremely important official announcement confirming a major change for the Romanian telecommunications group, and this is because it sold a foreign division. DIGI RCS & RDS agreed at the end of 2021 to sell the local subsidiary to 4iG in Hungary, after they were denied a license to provide 5G services, so the decision was made to give up that division.

DIGI RCS & RDS agreed with 4iG to sell its local subsidiary at a price of 625 million euros, a considerable amount that will reach the Romanian company to make major investments future. DIGI RCS & RDS founded in 1998 the subsidiary which it has now sold to 4iG, turning it into one of the most important telecommunications service providers in the country, something which of course was not easy to achieve, and by Here comes the large amount of sales.

DIGI RCS & RDS did not have an easy life with the Hungarian telecommunications authorities, so it finally decided to leave the market instead of continuing to be able to provide state-of-the-art 5G services. In 2020, the Hungarian subsidiary of DIGI had revenues of 200 million euros, with millions of revenue-generating units, so we are talking about a healthy company that also generates good money for the parent company in Romania.

DIGI RCS & RDS sold its subsidiary to a group that was founded about 2 years before its subsidiary, so it has extensive experience in providing telecommunications services to local customers. In this regard, customers who will reach 4iG should benefit from quality services from this company, as they were used to until the sale, but it remains to be seen to what extent the prices of the services will remain the same, or will be changed in

DIGI RCS & RDS is still active in Italy and Spain, where it enjoys quite a lot of success, and this is because it has a lot of subscribers who generate revenue on measure of expectations.
