Disbelief: Ivan Tasovac passed away at the age of 55

Ivan Tasovac

Director of the Belgrade Philharmonic, Ivan Tasovac passed away tonight at the age of 55 in his home in Belgrade.

After he suddenly fell ill, the ambulance team tried resuscitation. Unfortunately, around 9 pm, Tasovac left this world forever, reports “Alo.rs”.

Recall, in the position of director of the Belgrade Philharmonic , Ivan Tasovac passed away from March 23, 2001 to 2013, and at the beginning of 2014 he was unanimously chosen as the best candidate for this position in the competition for the new director.

In the period from 2013 to 2016, he performed the function of the Minister of Culture and Information.

Ivan Tasovac was also a member of the jury of international competitions, he led master classes of pianism in Russia, Italy, as well as the former Yugoslavia.
