The world number one Novak Djokovic can take part in the Australian Open. He is traveling to Melbourne with a special permit.
The 34 -year-old Serb on Instagram on Tuesday. Djokovic has not made his vaccination status public. His participation in the first Grand Slam tournament of the year had been uncertain in recent weeks because all participants must be vaccinated or have a medical exemption.
Djokovic can in Melbourne (17th to 30th January) win their tenth Australian Open title and become the sole record holder with his 21st major win.
