CASE of Covid-19 in Indonesia does show a downward trend. However, that doesn’t mean people can ignore health protocols. The reason is, it is not impossible that there will be a wave 3 of Covid in Indonesia.
In his Tiktok video, Dr. Tirta @tirtacipeng advised that there is a possibility that the peak of Covid-19 will occur at the end of the year. Not only that, Dr. Tirta also gave important tips that must be done to prevent this from happening.
Indonesia is declared free from the Covid-19 red zone but the assumption ‘it is safe’ is wrong and is not recommended. The public is still required to comply with health protocols.
“Now the case positive rate has become 0.7% . This means that out of the 1,000 people who were detected positive, 7. But don’t feel like you’ve won,” said Dr Tirta in his video.
Doctor Tirta asked the public to remain vigilant. Caution is meant not to panic too much, because panic doesn’t solve the problem, it doesn’t make the Covid go away.
“Being vigilant is living healthy, living clean, remembering others and keeping yourself clean. Keeping yourself clean means coming home from outside and still washing your hands, washing your feet, washing your face,” he said in the video.
