Dota 2: The International will distribute more than 40 million dollars in prizes

The coronavirus stopped the Professional Circuit of Dota 2 in 2020; Unfortunately, this resulted in the postponement of The International 10, the Video Game World Cup. Well, after more than a year without TI, Valve will kick off on October 7.

The event will take place in Bucharest, Romania, in person. In total there are 18 teams that will fight for most of the 40 million dollars that will be awarded in prizes.

After the event was postponed, Valve managed to raise exactly 40,018,195 of American dollars. Teams that close the tournament in places 17 and 18 will win $ 100,000.

Those who are ranked 13 to 16 take home $ 600,300; those from ninth to twelfth place, 800,400 thousand; the seventh and eighth places already climb to a million dollars.

The fifth and sixth place pocket 1,400,600 dollars. Can you imagine at this point how much money the four best of The International 10 will win? This is how the rest of the money will be distributed.
