Duisburg fired Pavel Dochev

Pavel Dochev is no longer the coach of the third division German Duisburg. The Bulgarian coach was fired by the “zebras” for poor results. The team ranks an unenviable 17th place in the standings with 12 points.

Duisburg have lost their last two games to Victoria Cologne and Meppen, and the team’s defeats since the beginning of the season are as many as seven.

Dochev took over the team in February and managed to save it from relegation to the Regional League last season.

In his career the Bulgarian specialist has been in charge of Paderborn, Sandhausen, Preussen Münster, Erzgebirge Aue, Victoria Cologne, Hansa and CSKA.
