“We are talking about those honest people from Bucharest who go by bus almost every day and pay for the ticket. Well, these people have found themselves in the tragic situation of not being able to go by bus these days. Most likely they invested that money in alternative transport solutions, such as UBER or Metro “, explained the director of STB.
The mayor’s office announced that it will compensate the losses suffered by the transport company by allocating another tranche of 6 lei subsidy from the local budget, in addition to the 100 million lei it gives annually and the debts of several hundred million euros for which it was negotiated not to pay them.
