Dyson brings to Romania the V15 Detect Absolute vacuum cleaner, which can detect hidden dust

Dyson , the company that revolutionized vacuum cleaners launched in Romania on September 30 its new model V15 Detect Absolute , which is able to detect even hidden dust . These are dust particles up to 10 microns in size, and the new model comes with an electric piezo sensor that provides scientific proof of what has been vacuumed.

Dyson V15 Detect Absolute is the first vacuum cleaner with Laser Detect technology, which helps to reveal hidden dust in homes. It is part of the new generation of cordless vacuum cleaners and has been developed by a team of 370 engineers worldwide. It comes with a special Dyson Hyperdymium engine, which generates up to 240 watts of 5-stage suction and filtration power, capturing 99.99% of dust particles up to 0.3 microns, for powerful deep cleaning.

60% of people clean more than before according to the Dyson Global Dust Study 2021. The same analysis shows that most people are worried about the level of dust in their homes, and 76% are aware of the link between house dust and diseases such as asthma or allergies. The diode laser is located in the cleaning head, which is positioned at an angle of 1.5 degrees, at 7.3 mmm from the ground to create the best possible contrast between dust and floor.

Dust particles are measured, counted and removed 15,000 times per second using an electric piezo sensor, which converts vibrations into electrical signals, accurately displaying the size and number of particles sucked on an LCD screen behind the vacuum cleaner. The new model also comes with anti-tangle technology, which prevents hair from being wrapped around the brush, whether it’s human or pet hair. Filtration is performed in 5 steps and 99.99% of the particles up to 0.3 microns in size are captured.

The new model weighs 2.74 kilograms, has a collection container of 0.77 liters and an engine power of 660W. The battery is a removable 25.2V unit. It has 3 operating modes (Eco, Boost and Auto) and has a maximum autonomy of 60 minutes.

The vacuum cleaner is already available in Romania and can be ordered through the following retailers:
