Eastbound Bonaventure Expressway reduced to one lane after damage to overhead sign

Two of the three eastbound lanes of the Bonaventure Expressway are closed until further notice after an overhead sign at the level of the Victoria Bridge was clipped by a passing vehicle a little after noon on Friday.

Inspectors are on site verifying the extent of the damage. While no injuries were immediately reported, traffic has been reduced to a crawl and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
