EDENS ZERO Anime Teases Plans to Continue
by Joseph Luster October 4, 2021
The final episode of the EDENS ZERO anime aired over the weekend, but that might not be all we’ll be seeing of the adaptation of Hiro Mashima’s manga. While there aren’t any concrete plans in place, the official Twitter account thanked fans for their support after the episode’s broadcast, and added that “Shiki’s adventures will continue.”
This came right around the same time as some very sad news about the anime, with the announcement that EDENS ZERO director Yushi Suzuki passed away on September 9. With that in mind, it’s understandable that we may need to wait a while to find out what the future holds for the series.
The EDENS ZERO anime streams outside of Japan on Netflix, with the first part becoming available on August 26. There’s currently no date for the second part’s international Netflix premiere, so stay tuned for more.
