This Friday (1st), the government of the state of Rio Grande do Sul published new sanitary rules that require proof of vaccination and testing for the establishments to function.
As New measures are another totalitarian step by Governor Eduardo Leite, who during the pandemic even listed items that could be sold in supermarkets.
The rules will begin to be applied obligatorily on October 18th. However, the State’s official website suggests that establishments start to adopt the rules immediately.
The government imposed new measures in Decree 56.120, published in the 3rd edition of the Official State Gazette ( DOE) last Friday, October 1st, and will be valid for children’s social events and entertainment venues, nightclubs, sports competitions, fairs, concerts, cinemas, theaters, theme parks and the like.
*) Anyone who wants to use more than 30% of the capacity of the site must require proof of vaccination or a negative test for Covid-19, otherwise they must follow the previous protocols.
“Tourist establishments that requiring a vaccination passport must have strict occupancy control, with up to 80% of the capacity authorized in the permit or PPCI for places with the Responsible Tourism Seal of the Ministry of Tourism (MTur) and up to 60% of the capacity in those without federal certification” , says the state government website.

- 40 years or more: complete vaccination schedule from October 1st.
30 to 39 years old: first dose or single dose from October 1st to 31st and complete vaccination schedule from November 1st. 18 to 29 years old: first dose or single dose from October 1st to November 30th and complete vaccination schedule from December 1st.
