Billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk at Tesla said in a recent appearance on the Babylon Bee’s podcast, a Christian satire site focusing also on political issues, that he agrees with the teachings of Jesus, such as forgiveness and treating people as you would like to be treated.
The organization’s CEO, Seth Dillon, Editor-in-Chief Kyle Mann, and Creative Director Ethan Nicolle discussed several issues during the interview. Nicolle then questioned whether Musk would accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
“Things like turning the other cheek are very important, unlike an eye for an eye. An eye for an eye makes everyone blind. As Einstein would say, ‘I believe in Spinoza’s God,’” said Musk
According to The Christian Post, Musk, who is often described as an atheist or agnostic, went on to say that “if Jesus is saving people” he would not object, and would be saved. His response was celebrated by the hosts of the Babylon Bee.
According to Musk, who was born in South Africa, he was baptized as a child and attended communion. However, previously when asked if he prayed, he replied that he did not pray even when he was about to die of malaria.
