Elon Musk is annoyed by Blue Origin’s wave of lawsuits against SpaceX. At a conference he gave Jeff Bezos the opinion. Richard Branson also got something in the subordinate clause.
That Amazon founder Jeff Bezos shoots down one lawsuit after the other in the direction of the space company SpaceX, annoys Elon Musk . On Tuesday, he breathed himself with a swipe. At the 2021 Code Conference Musk said in the direction of Bezos : “You can’t yourself sue to the moon, no matter how good your lawyers are. ”The journalist Kara Swisher had asked the SpaceX founder about the lawsuits that Bezos used to develop a lunar lander for the Controversial Artemis project torpedoed. Musks SpaceX was awarded the contract.
The trouble began when NASA surprisingly handed the project over to only one partner: Elon Musk’s SpaceX. Bezos then tried to change the agency’s mind with a deal. Blue Origin will assume the costs in the coming years – up to a height of two billion dollars – and will be allowed to compete against SpaceX again. The space agency did not respond. Bezos then complained to the US Court of Auditors (GOA – Government Accountability Office), the the project froze , checked and released. In the opinion of the GOA did not violate any allocation rules . SpaceX has prevailed with by far the cheapest and at the same time the most extensive offer.
Most recently, Bezos announced that he would sue NASA himself – to the obvious displeasure of Elon Musk. He had already joked that Bezos had probably withdrawn from Amazon so that he Indulge in his passion for litigation full time .
Further legal disputes are taking place in the field of internet satellites. Bezos is trying to get the responsible

When Kara Swisher asked about Jeff Bezos and Richards Benson’s recent stays in suborbit, Musk also had an answer. He thinks it’s cool that the two billionaires are spending money on space travel. However, joked Musk, “suborbital is only a step towards space.” His space company SpaceX has been involved in supply flights to the ISS since 2012 and has already flown astronauts there.
