By Ismail Azeez, Osogbo

The Osun State government has directed security agencies within the state to investigate the crisis in Esa-Oke and identify the root cause of the matter, with a view to arresting and prosecuting those responsible.

In a statement issued by the state’s Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment, Kolapo Alimi, the governor urged all parties involved to remain calm.

The recent disruption in Esa-Oke has been described as deeply unfortunate, with the news of the incident coming as a shock to the state government. However, security agencies have since been deployed to the area, restoring peace and order.

“Security operatives have been instructed to investigate the situation thoroughly to uncover the root cause and ensure that all those responsible are held accountable,” Alimi said.

He continued, “The governor has called on all parties concerned to stay calm as we work to understand the cause of this incident. Our thoughts are with all those affected, and we assure them that justice will be served.”
