FA Cup fourth-round draw: Kidderminster host West Ham, Liverpool v Cardiff, Man City v Fulham

National League North side Kidderminster Harriers are “shell-shocked” after being drawn to face Premier League West Ham United in the FA Cup fourth round.

The sixth-tier club, the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, stunned Reading on Saturday.

Fellow non-league side Boreham Wood visit Championship leaders Bournemouth.

“This is what the FA Cup dream is all about,” Kidderminster manager Russell Penn told BBC Radio 5 Live.

“I sweated hot and cold all day worrying about the draw. You just want that plum tie, to be rewarded for what we did yesterday and we got that.

“I think my phone will go into meltdown. I was so proud, first and foremost for the players, club, chairman and fans. Everyone deserves it.

“The chairman is buzzing. Did we expect to win? No, we thought we had a chance but we are shell-shocked. We deserved the victory and the chairman was like the Grinch at Christmas – his smile went from ear to ear.

“I will be going up against one of the most respected British managers in David Moyes, which is fantastic for me. I know he respects the competition, the lower leagues and West Ham are on the up. What a tie!

“Hopefully we can write some more history.”

League One side Cambridge United’s reward for beating Newcastle in arguably the biggest shock of the third round is a home tie with Luton Town.

Another League One side, Plymouth Argyle, are away to Chelsea, while Nottingham Forest will host holders Leicester City after beating 14-time winners Arsenal.

The winners of Manchester United-Aston Villa, who play on Monday (19:55 GMT), will host Middlesbrough while Championship club Cardiff will visit Liverpool.

Manchester City will host Fulham, while there are at least three all-Premier League ties.

Everton are at home to Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion travel to Tottenham and Wolves will welcome Norwich City.

League Two Hartlepool United’s reward for beating Championship side Blackpool is an away trip to Premier League Crystal Palace.

The fourth round will be played between 4 and 7 February.
