Developer shares a beautiful soundscapes video, too
FAR: Lone Sails won over plenty of fans with its genre-mixing exploration gameplay in 2019, so we were rather pleased when a sequel was revealed last Summer. Now developer Okomotive and publisher Frontier Foundry have confirmed that FAR: Changing Tides will arrive on 1st March, with pre-orders to open on Switch eShop in February.
You can see some official details below, and it’s worth noting that the developers have stressed that you don’t need to play the first game in order to enjoy this sequel:
Embark on an unforgettable journey as Toe, a boy stranded alone in a flooded, post-apocalyptic world. Solve puzzles, overcome the elements, and dive to unknown depths in your search for a new home.
The developer has also put together a lovely soundscapes video, which features over an hour of music with footage and scenes from the game.
