Fire in hotel in Oslo extinguished

Around 250 people were evacuated from Anker Hotel in Storgata in Oslo, after a report of a fire. The fire was reported at 1.30 on Saturday night. Around 01.48, the Police in Oslo report that the Fire Brigade in Oslo has extinguished the fire, which started inside a hotel room. No persons were reported injured. The cause of the fire is so far not known.

The Oslo Fire and Rescue Service informed NTB that there was a fire in an apartment on the second floor of the building.

The fire brigade was notified by an automatic fire alarm, and it was quickly established that it was a fire.

The fire brigade moved out with a lot of resources.
